Jonathan A. Saidel
JONATHAN A. SAIDEL is an associate in the law firm of Cohen, Placitella & Roth, P.C. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1979.
He served as Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office from 1981 to 2003, Chief Major Trials Division, 1995 to 2003. He was a Homicide Unit Attorney from 1986 to 1995 and was Lead Prosecutor in the Ira Einhorn Murder Prosecution, September, 2002.
He was an adjunct lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Fels Center of Government in 2000 and an adjunct professor at Drexel University MBA program in 1999 and 2002.
He also served as the City of Philadelphia Controller, from 1990-2005 and was recognized as "Controller of the Year" by the Pennsylvania City Controllers Association. He is a former partner of Saidel, Sand and Saidel (1985-1989) and a former partner of the Saidel and Company accounting firm.
Mr. Saidel serves on the Advisory Board of Bluestone Real Estate Capital (Chairman), Advisory Board of Institute for Strategic Threat Analysis and Response at the University of Pennsylvania and the Board of the Phildelphia Film Institute.
