Jonathan A. Saidel

JONATHAN A. SAIDEL is a member of the law firm of Cohen, Placitella & Roth, P.C. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1979. Jonathan limits his practice to governmental relations and consulting.

Jonathan is a 1972 Accounting graduate of Temple University and he received his CPA in 1975. He graduated from the Delaware Law School of Widener University in 1979.

Jonathan served as the City of Philadelphia Controller for 16 years and he was recognized as "Controller of the Year" by the Pennsylvania City Controllers Association.

Jonathan was an adjunct lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Fels Center of Government in 2000, and an adjunct professor at Drexel University MBA program in 1999 and 2002.

Jonathan also serves on the Advisory Board of Bluestone Real Estate Capital (Chairman), Advisory Board of Institute for Strategic Threat Analysis and Response at the University of Pennsylvania and the Board of the Philadelphia Film Institute. He was honored by United Cerebral Palsy in 2007 for his many contributions to persons with disabilities.
